- First and foremost, I am a follower of Jesus Christ. He is my Savior, my Lord, my God, and my Best friend. with all that He's given me and brought me through, i cant help but want to give him my whole life. I am a Sophomore at Liberty University majoring in Worship and Theatre Ministries and minoring in Missions. This summer, I've been given the oppurtunity to live in Washington, DC and work through an organization called DayBreak working with the kids in the Lincoln Heights area. Too often people my age think that God has turned their back on them or that people dont understand us...they think that we cannot make a difference because we are too young and all that crap. but if we all work together, think what an impact we can make!! We'll never know what we are capeable of until we try to fly. We might fall flat on our face but there is a chance that we could be soaring with the eagles.

looked down from a broken sky traced out by the city lights,
my world from a mile high best seat in the house tonight.
touched down on the cold black top, hold on for the sudden shock
breathe in the familiar shock of confusion and chaos
all those people going somewhere, why have i never cared?

step out on a busy street, see a girl and our eyes meet
does her best to smile at me to hide whats underneath.
there's a man just to her right, black suit and a bright red tie
too ashamed to tell his wife hes out of work, he's buying time
all those people going somewhere, why have i never cared?
